L larry33kc Well-Known Member Joined Aug 19, 2001 Jun 8, 2014 #2 The knocking you hear, is it engine knock (rods, crank, lifters) or detonation? Either way need to stop driving and do a complete check and figure it out. Actually first thing I would do is turn the boost down and see if it goes away.
