Engine Build?

How about an LZ9? 4088, 15psi, just a cam and valve springs, everything else untouched.


Power is in the heads
 
You will pretty much be starting over 100% from where you are. You will be cylinder pressure limited to mid teens boost and need a lower CR. Neither of these are good for making power in a "street" car imo. You will need to build a 6800-7000rpm engine to make low 10 sec power. You will need to run a lot more turbo than would typically be used and the converter selection will be much different than anything you will find posted about on here. I'd plan on a $20k budget just for the engine and management.

Ok thanks. Where do you recommend to put the nozzle? I hear people puting it in a lot of different places and would like the most out of it. Average summer temp around here gets to the 100s.
The nozzle/s go in the up pipe about 6" or so from the throttle body.
There are several members running nines on alky and 93 ...hopefully I will get mine there too
