Emergency Brake adjustment

I set my drums so that there is the slightest scrub when you turn the drum no real resistance though. So I would say that part is done but how do you properly adjust the brake cables under drivers floor board. I usually just tighten them up until the ebrake doesn't go to the floor but I wonder if there is a proper method.

2 different ways to do it. Adjust the shoes as you did and then tighten up the cable, or have the shoes backed all the way off, adjust the cable and then the shoes. I prefer the one you did because the cable usually won't strech as much.

ok thats what I was thinking. The other thing is on cable adjustments. Do you put the pedal half way down and adjust the cables tight or do you just keep guessing and checking.

Personally I prefer a high pedal so I adjust it so that it only makes 3 or 4 clicks down, but that's me.
