I recently acquired the original selling Buick deal car emblem from 1987 and asking for advice whether or not to place on my car. Two schools of thought... 1) my GN obviously did not roll off the assembly line with the dealer emblem so some say 'don't affix to emblem to the trunk - 2) I have the original window sticker and often times display that with the car and the emblem is from that dealer.
I have yet to locate a picture of a GN on this dealer's lot from circa 1987 to know exactly where they were placed but not sure that is a major concern as I believe most were placed on the right side of the deck-lid just above the tail light.
My GN will be at the Chicago Muscle Car Corvette Nationals this year and I doubt having the original emblem (which was not easy to find - just shy of 2 years searching and it's in perfect condition) matters.
Your thoughts, feedback, etc?
