CPS bad...can i get one?

My buddies 84 GN would not start yesterday.Just turns over.We have figured that the CPS is bad.I am having no luck finding one for this car.Will the 86-87 part number fit?Anyone know where to get one for the hot air car?

I am talking about the crank sensor.

Before you replace it, be sure that it is in correctly and adjusted.
I had installed mine, and placed the vanes between the metal
plates--it looks as though it should go there--but it doesn't.
The vanes rotate through the plastic part of the sensor--with
a .030 gap.

Napa should have them and O'Reilly's should carry them...

You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding the crankshaft position sensor...Make sure you tell them it's for the turbo'd motor, Vin 9 engine code...
