Copper turbo-exhaust manifold gaskets.

I'm running out of time before Bowling Green to get my car done to get the copper gasket that goes from the turbo to the exhaust manifold. Do these have to be copper or can I make a gasket out of either flat copper or header gasket-type of material? Did the factory even have a gasket there originally?

the factory never had a gasket there to begin with, I make a 3 bolt gasket out of the same material that the felpro 1200 header flange gaskets are made out of. I have used the copper ones with good sucess as well. i would bolt the thing together without one and if it leaks you can get one from me in BG
