computer harness removal

[83 regal]

putting a chevy motor in my 83 regal. can i do away with the computer harness wirers so the wirers isnt in the wheel well looking all cobbeled up and in the way.any info will help.

you can take the pass side wheel well out to get to the wire loom lock tab that is screwed to the fire wall, then take the computer out, & look behind the grove box there you can unplug that harness from the dash harness & pull it threw the fire wall, with out cutting any thing.. good luck,

this would be a good time to clean out the heater box drain flap door, while you have the wheel well out..
