cold air intake

Who has the best polished cold air intake kit that would have a matching up pipe will be using ls1 maf. Does the tin man one pull air from outside of the engine compartment? Car is driven daily and air temps run hot at idle and I think I would benefit drawing in outside air. I have a stock replacement polished up pipe don't know if I would benefit changing that for bigger?

Arr you wanting a matching up pipe in aluminum for the weight savings or for the look? (or to make it bigger then shrink it back down for the TB?)
