cluster question

Lots of screws and an old brittle plastic speedometer but it is not hard, just lots of different parts - not really a cluster.

If you've removed it at least five or six times as I have doing mods, then a cluster swap shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Once you figure out how to detach the speedo cable blindly, then it's a snap.

I was going for the metal clip that needs to be pressed to release the cable and my thick hands were a bit too rough and busted the speedometer

Loosen the screws that hold it into place then go in the engine bay and feed all the speedo cable slack u can into the grommet towards the speedo head.
This should push the head out enough to reach behind it the from the door a/c vent side and press the metal tab down to releas the cable.
