Clunk when stopping

When I am coming to a stop in my car, I am feeling a cluck in the floor around the emergency brake area. I was wondering if anyone has ideas what it could be. It seems to be getting worse. Has anyone run into this problem before. Everthing was tight last time I check. Also sometimes when I am sitting in traffic I feel the same tap on the floor, I let the car roll up hit the brakes and it stop. Any ideas?

try taking a look at your drivers side suspension. i know when mine started making a similar noise under the same conditions it ended up being a control arm bushing that wore out.

Everything in the front suspension has been replaced. It started after that. I guess I am going to have to check the bushing

Does the car have poly bushings? If so did you use the right grease for them? Also it could be the body bushings. And believe it or not I heard from another member that the bump stop for the hood will make a loud sound, I think its the one near the cowl??
