Check Engine Light

In the last two days my CEL has flashed on 3 times.
The last time it was during letting off the throttle while
coasting down 92. The car runs fine, cool water temps, oil pressure and so
on.
What are some of the common culprits?
I was thinking my O/2 sensor could be going out.

PS: I did not see any error codes on the scan master.

Hopefully it means nothing (wouldn't count on it). My CEL was on for 18 years. Back to the dealer many times, they couldn't figure how to turn if off!?
Car had no codes, ran flawlessly. Finally some guy with a tiny garage on the seedy side of town fixed it! Go figure.
