Champion GN1 heads...Use header gaskets with stock headers?

Just wondering if I should use some Felpro (or other) header gaskets with GN1 heads (unported) and stock headers. Or just bolt the headers up with no gaskets like stock?

Any feedback?

Have you opened up the headers to compliment the GN1's. If not ,you'll be chocking off alot of the GN1's potential. As far as gaskets, I use the Fel-Pro 1400's with 100% success. Again, you might still want to enlarge the gaskets port openngs somewhat to match the heads.

I haven't opened them up yet, but am borrowing a die grinder and will be doing that. I guess you would suggest matching up the headers to the Fel-Pro 1400's as much as possible without compromising the integrity of the header?
