Ok. I have an '87 GN, stock except for a Poston's chip, and it has an alarm and a Ravelco anti-theft device.
The car starts fine. It idles fine. When I push the throttle, especially uphill, it sputters, runs roughly (like it's dieseling) and coughs and tries to die. It has no power and I can't get it to go anywhere.
After a great deal of effort (those tabs pull off of the coil pack! And so do the connectors that go onto the coil pack) I replaced the coil pack saturday.
No better. Could it be the fuel pump? What should I do?
