Cant run over 10psi of boost or car will backfire abd studer

Hi guys just got my car out today and when i go over 10psi of boost the car falls flat on its face and backfires and studers the only thing i did is replace my cam sensor cap the bottom piece stayed in place and no the pin is ok not broken the only other thing i can tell you is that when i adjusted my cam sensor with a volt meter i only had 5.35 volts at the max ! Is this normal and if not what can be causing this????

Replaced the cap with what?

Was it doing it before the swap?

Replaced the cap with a new one and before just on idle i could not even rev it that it would bacfire and as soon that i unpluged the cam sensor cap car ran fine!

What cam sensor cap did you buy? I've heard of casper's giving some trouble.

Its a used cam sensor that was known to be good!

You may want to check your crank sensor adjustment. I thought my cam sensor was bad because of similar issues so I pulled it and it was fine. I only had like 5 +- volts also. I turned it counter clockwise until I got like .04volts with the crank at 25deg atdc. Then I adj the gap on my crank sensor and my issues went away. Good luck

Correct rise in pressure vs boost??

Also is the screw tight on the cam sensor hall effect ring?

Check the maf too!
