Cant remove frame braces......????

I took my first trip to the local u pull it today and was surprised to find many G bodies there. I noticed the triangular front frame braces undert the car wont come off by just unscreing the bolt. Is ther a nut on top i have to get a hold of too? They seem to just keep on spinning.....Also, i found a 86 grand prix with the bar underneath that goes all the way across, will this fit on my 87 gn and clear the intercooler? Also i found a bunch of old caddys with under the hood braces, are any of these useful? any information would be helpful.

Yes, there is a nut on the back that you need to hold and some guys use the Caddy braces to make rear seat braces.

Yes...

18 mm nut. Use an offset open end wrench in the hole. The bolts in the cross member are self tapping style.
