Maybe some of you guys can show them what a couple of old V6 Buick's can do ;)

Saturday, May 23th, 9am to 5pm.
Buschur Racing Inc., in Wakeman, Ohio. We will have a dyno competition and open house. The dyno competition is $50/3 pulls, there will be a first place trophy awarded for highest 2wd and AWD vehicles. Cars that are too low to clear the dyno will not be loaded. NO NITROUS ALLOWED ON DYNO. Bottle must be removed from car.

Sunday, May 24th, 9am to 5 pm. Summit Motorsports Park, in Norwalk, Ohio. Time trials from 8am-12 pm. First round of eliminations at 1 pm.

Car and driver, $35.
Car and owner for car show, $35
Specatators, $15
Kids 12 and under are free.

The event on Sunday is open to any FWD, RWD or AWD. The event is open to any 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder or rotary powered vehicle.

We will have drag racing all day long along with a car show.

NO Tube chassis cars are allowed. Contact me if you own one and would like to make exhibition passes only.

RACE CAR CLASSES:

RFD-This is for Front wheel and Rear wheel drive vehicles. DOT tire only. Full exhaust required. Heads up/pro tree class.

RFS-This is for Front wheel and Rear wheel drive vehicles. SLICK tire only.
Open exhaust is OK. Heads up/pro tree class.

MD-This is for ALL motor vehicles only. NO POWER ADDERS allowed. DOT tire only. Full exhaust is required. Heads up/pro tree class.

MS-This is for ALL motor vehicles only. NO POWER ADDERS allowed. SLICK tire only. Open exhaust is OK. Heads up/pro tree class.

AWD-This is for All Wheel Drive vehicles only. DOT tire only. Full exhaust is required. Head up/pro tree class.

AWS-This is for All Wheel Drive vehicles only. SLICK tire only. Open exhaust is OK. Heads up/pro tree class.

B1-Anything goes. 0-12.99 dial-ins. Handicapped start, bracket racing.

B2-Anything goes. 13.00 and slower dial-ins. Handicapped start, bracket racing.

QUICK 16-Qualifying for Quick 16 will be at 10am, 11 am and 12 pm. If you qualify for Q16 and make the field you must run Q16. If you attempt to qualify and do not make the field you can enter any of the other classes that your car fits in.

CAR SHOW:

The cars will be judged on overall appearance, attention to detail, body modifications, paint, interior, trunk and engine bay. Each category will be on a scale of 1 to 20 on the judging card.

Registration: Registration for the car show will be from 9am-noon. The location of registration will be announced at a later date or the day of the event.

Judging: Judging will start @ 10am and end at 3:00pm.

Awards: Awards will be presented at 4pm at the customer service building.

VENDOR space is FREE for this event. No limit on display space. Just pay the spectator entry fee at the gate and come to enjoy the event.

CLASS SPONSORS. If you are interested in sponsoring one of the classes please contact me via PM. The fee is $1,000 and will get your name on the class, on the trophies and announcements made throughout the day. It will also cover your display you bring in and 5 peoples admission to the track.
 
David ALWAyS puts on a very nice event! I enjoyed it each and every time I have gone, alot of fast and unique cars.I really liked that blue Toyota Corolla that had the DSM driveline.
 
He used to own a few Buicks...

They build some badass DSMs. I'll probably check that event out. Maybe the Buick car truck thing will be alive in time for it.
 
Are cars that come turbo'd from the manufactorer allowed to compete in the all-motor classes? They consider turbos to be power adders but if the turbo wasn't added how does that work?
