This is driving me crazy. Have read many threads here and on gnttype. Here's the deal:
had all brake lines replaced with inlinetube ss lines and ss hoses. had the reservoir and the grommets replaced, and still leaking. no brake light, but passenger side of reservoir a little low. then thought hoses, then thought possibly they didn't tighten down lines at the proportioning valve... here's the deal... fluid leaking from the frame just behind the front driver's wheel well. if you look straight down from the PM onto the frame, it's wet. Neither of the two hoses seem to be leaking, nor the reservoir, nor grommets. As I mentioned, fluid level on the inside reservoir seems to be a little low. I can feel fluid on the very bottom of the PM motor toward the firewall and see some old fluid stains on top rear of motor as well. could that be the pressure switch? I'm hoping that you don't say I need to replace the PM unit, but I fear that may be the case. Ideas?
