boost gage?

Directly below the LED layout of the Tach on my 87 GN dash, is a boost gage, that doesnt seem to work.

I'm not concerned that I don't have the visual representation of the boost, but I'd like to make the things that are present on the car, work right.

Is this a common thing, or what have been your experiences with this?

Make sure the MAP sensor is hooked up. Its on the passenger side inner fender. Just pop the hood and its on the left. A vacuum line runs from the vacuum block to it. It may be bad. Check all your fuses.
