Black Lab Puppy

I picked up this Black Lab puppy (8 Weeks) at a Wal-Mart. Someone was giving them away. Based on her size she looks mostly Lab but is mixed with something else.

Wow, giving them away. We had our lab for twelve years and she was the most gentle creature to anything except birds and rabbits. Like an angel with four legs, enjoy your new friend. My wife and I are suckers for them. We would have just brought them all home and then gone broke buying dog food...

Here's mine. Baby Girl and Red are very different. Red's nickname is hudini because no matter what I do she gets out of her pen. got her from my land lord. Baby was a stray one of my old bosses found while picking up his trailer in the middle of no where. She was so thin you could count her ribs at ten feet. He pushed her out of the truck at the shop and she decided I was hers. Wouldn't let me out of her sight and has an interesting attitude when strangers come over.

Yes it is, our neighbor liked ours so much they went the next weekend and picked up her brother from the same litter, they are pretty much unseparable as our yards have a gate open between them. You do have to take them to get cut/groomed about 4 times a year, but very little shedding and very smart dogs, very good around kids, but also protective. And so far, no health problems like we have had with pure breeds in the past..they are 4.5 years ld now. They are both every bit of 90 lbs now!
One day the gas meter reader came to the door as he couldn't locate our meter, the dog came running out and he was looking at her and said, "what the hell, your dog looks like a live stuffed animal!"
