Axle tube diameter

What is the axle tube diameter for a stock TB? 2 5/8" or 3"?

I was wondering the same thing myself I measured mine and roughly 2 3/4". I called Scott at GNS performance to order the DSE bar and he told me stock was 3". I really would like others input. Is an 87 GN 2 3/4" or 3" stock?

Mine are 2.75". If you measured yours and they are 2.75" than I would bet you that's what they are.
