AVC GNX Speedometer

Speedometer in my GN equipped with the AVC GNX dash is reading fast. Problem I think is in the inline reducer as I'm doing 80 while actually going 60. Is the inline reducer rebuildable or does anyone know the VDO number for a new one?

My suggestion is to take the car to a speedometer shop and remove the reducer. The shop can replace the gear in the tranny with the correct one to get the speedometer reading correctly.

Are you sure that the unit is a reducer?
It may be a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) .

Those speedometers like the Autometer ones are calibrated the same as the stock GM speedometers. The only way to adjust the calibration is with the gears in the tranny. If someone swapped out the trans, then most likely the gear is different OR the rear tire size is different than what the stock diameter should be.
The only thing inline between the trans and the speedo head should be the VSS.
