I recently purchased an 85 GN that was not running, so I decided to put an 87 combo in it that my dad had bought a few years back. I want to eventually run in the high 11's. I have a TA 49, Red Armstrong XP pump hotwired with adj. regulator, 3" Terry Houstan, 2.5" Hooker, air bags, Heated O2 . I had the engine boored 30 got forged pistons and ported the heads. I plan to have the motor back in and be drag racing by the end of May. 
My question is does any one have any suggestions besides a bigger turbo and intercooler to help me get into the 11's? And what sized injectors do I need? Also will a stock tranny with hold up the abuse if I put in an orange stipe converter?
