Any El Camino guys running a FMIC?

My plan was to use a PTE, but it's looking like it will be a tight fit - and if I remember right, the front spoiler will be in the way of the IC pipes.

Ditching the front spoiler isn't an option, maybe I'll have to do something custom? Or maybe I'm crazy? Pics of setups would be helpful.

It looks like he removed a bracket, which I figured I would have to do. Doesn't help with the front spoiler issue, though.

Haven't started yet, but I'm about to try to add a Ford P/S intercooler on the same platform (81, only 2 headlights). Probably several months out until completion though.

Sorry, I forgot to ask why keeping the front spoiler is an issue.

it was difficult to make the front mount piping fit without ditching the spoiler. I had to cut into the core support where the pipes went. Usually, the pipes cleared the core support totally front front to back, but mine ended up in the middle of the core support. Hits the spoiler, but made it work.
