Another 6265 or 6765 thread...

Setup= roller cam/rockers, gn1s, .20 over pistons/billet mains, 60 lb injectors, esp front mount.

Going to be a street car mostly with ocassional track visits. Looking for a high to mid 10 second capable car...

I'm just wondering if it would be better to use the smaller turbo and be in the "sweet spot" or go larger and stay cooler and have a little room to play with.
 
I doubt it would be a noticeable difference for a high 10 sec application. No difference if spraying in alky
 
If thats the case I think 6765 will be the way to go...
Leads me to a few more ?s

What stall converter?
Stock style THDP wastegate okay or need something else?
4" MAF pipe neccessary with the S shroud correct?

Anything else I need to know?
 
The 6265 bb or standard would be good choices.
The 67 would require biger injectors when you turn it up.
If you go with a ptc 9.5 inch you can use a 26-2800 with the bb
and around 3000 with the standard bearing.
I like the s cover and the .63 turbine.
Rjc has a new larger puck that should help with controlling
boost. Regardless you will need to port the turbine housing
