Alternator

A piece of the pulley on the alternator of my 1984 stock T-Type broke and the belt came off. I now need a new alternator. Where is the best place to purchase an alternator? Any part #'s would be appreciated. Thanks.

why not just get a new pulley? there are probably millions of them waiting at your local boneyard just waiting for you to give the owner $5 for it.
but, if you must get a different alternator, everyone of the aforementioned pulleys is currently bolted to an alternator that will get the job done.

the part # for the alternator is 7294-6 try autozone.

Thanks for the responses. I got the part I needed for the pulley at the local junkyard and a new belt and all is good now.
