Can anyone post a picture of the rear alternator bracket? Mine is missing and I don't have anything to go by., I have GN1 heads and I don't know why they left it off. I need to know where it bolts to so I can replace it.

Here you go.

I don't see on my alternator where that can go. The tree mounts to the rear of the alternator and to the top bolt as well as going down to the header bolts

Maybe you have an Impala SS alternator. If you are using the Impala SS or other non-stock unit you may not be able to use the smaller mount. I’ve been running an Impala SS 140amp alternator for years without the small bracket and without any issues.

^^^^ Treed!

The short "L" bracket connects with a long 15mm head bolt, through the back of the accessory bracket, through the AC compressor to the "Y".

Now hopefully you can find the bracket that you need from someone on this forum.
