Guys,
I dug out from an old post that the Purolator part number F65364 fuel filter is good to go for filtering alky. Has anyone had any trouble out of one of those yet? I was just wondering before I go buy one. I plan on using it between the tank and the pump, not between the pump and the nozzle. - FAB6

No good pre pump. No problem after pump.

The nice thing was the filter was cheap at 8 bucks and is methanol compatible. The problem is getting fittings for the filter. If you use rubber hose, then its a non issue. If you use braided hose, then thats where the problem is. See the fittings are the nipples with the barb on the center(JCIC?). Youll see what I mean when you look at the filter, so you'll need the correct couplers(expensive). Discount sells the couplers at about 20 dollars each.

Hence why I moved to the other style of FILTER that can use braided hoses and handle the pressure. Tho it cannot be used pre pump. Actually any filter pre pump will reduce your pumps pressure output. Pressure guage confirmed.

Hope this helps.
