If i'm not going fast enough to lock up the tc, say 10 mph and i do a wot run quick, once i let go of the gas the car dies. If you slowly get out of throttle you can save it, but it dies on the worst of times.

I was thinking maybe IAC, i've readjusted everything with no help. The car has a reds 93 chip in it now and with the thrasher street chip the dying was almost eliminated.

Could it be just a bad IAC or just need to be readjusted.

Try cleaning the area of the TB where the IAC pintle contacts (cone shaped area). Also clean the IAC pintle and readjust to the Joe Lubrant procedure.

I took the IAC off and cleaned it and everything around it, including the hole in the TB where it allows the air to flow.

What is the Joe Lubrant procedure? different from gnttype?

I used to have the same problem and I tried every remedy in the book, the only way I could get it solved was to go the ME-R from Steve Y........good luck

Re: car dies

This is often caused by high fuel pressure. Do you have an adjustable regulator?

This is what everyone says. It has done it since i've owned the car, with 3 different chips.

I'll check FP again, but it was at 43 last time i've check with line off.
