I replaced the a/c lines and the o-rings on the GN and now I still have a slow leak, wont hold a vacuum very long. What is the best/correct way to check/locate/repair a leak. A friend of mine scored some R-12 and I don't want to lose it after charging.

<evil grin> Why don't you try Northtown Alignment???

Easy!!! Just bustin' your chops!!! ;) :D :D :D

Used to be you could buy some leak detector stuff(basically dye mixed in with the R-12, but anymore you'd have to take it somewhere to have it checked out...The really good shops have the detector wands that can sniff out the freon by passing the wand around...Really no easy way to do it except to take it somewhere, but we all know what kind of fiasco that will probably turn into...
