Hey guys i was driving last nite in the rain. i turned on the defroster which kicks on ur compressor the car didnt seem to run the same the turbo boost seem to register sooner than normal. any ideas thanks A/C blows cold

AC compressor = more load on engine and ECM compensates automatically = a smidge more exhaust flow. It takes less "power setting" by you to get it to spool, but it shouldn't be very significant.

Thanks. It just seem to vibrate I hardly use it. Maybe I need to pop the hood while its running to see if there is anything out of the ordinary going on anymore help would be great.

I'm sure the compressor is old and tired. Mine makes a lot of noise too, and puts a noticable load on the engine, but as long as it works, I'm not touching it. I also went thru a cycle of bolts coming loose when I first got the car - and this resulted in more vibration feel and noise. I just put a smidge of locktite on the loose bolts and never an issue since.
