This is a very nice low mile example of a hood pad taken out of an 87 GN. Asking 700+ ship. I am in Fort Myers Florida.

GLWS. A little steep for a pad with that much wear.

This is only my opinion though maybe you will get that amount.

GLWS.

what do you think is a fair price then rob?

its funny your the first person to comment on it having excessive wear, usually i have people commenting on how nice of a piece it is lol oh well lol

shoot me some reasonable offers guys:happy:

i have been watching that thread as well but it is a blank 8 hole pad to begin with not a 9, i mean after all it is an original piece

Since these other guys obviously have no manners....
I'm going to go first...then

That's a great looking pad!
It looks to be in fantastic shape.....
Fact is...I think that is the nicest pad I've seen in a long, long time.
And I've seen plenty of hood insulators.
For a used pad - this is probably THE nicest used pad I've ever seen...

By the way ..any chance you'd consider $400? :D

Now that I might have bought at that price if I had to have one.

Mine is close to what he is offering and I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred for mine.

I guess I'm way off, I just don't see the value in it, there are tears in it and the lettering is coming apart. People paying 700.00 for a used pad are nuts in my opinion, either way take the money and run if you can get it.

man you are being critical... there are 2 small indents but the lettering is intact.

How am I being critical???

For the same price or a little more you can get a new never been used pad.

I guess I should start selling used hood pads. No I think I'll wait ten more years and sell them for two grand, about the price of a rolling chassis today.

I have my opinion and am entitled to it as others are to theirs.

I guess something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, always was and always will be.

The term, there's an ass for every seat comes to mind.

Please don't jump on me for my opinions, if you think it's worth that kind of money don't lower the price, it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit and it shouldn't hurt yours.

Once again GLWS.

there is also another saying it is easier to go down in price than up my friend but all i said was that it was a nice example and your trying to say that its lacking in quality. Then what happened i pm'ed heisnburg and am waiting to negotiate. I am usually very picky about details but when it comes down to it this is a really nice pad. yes you have your opinion and i have mine and we are both entitled to them but you can go about stating it a bit nicer my friend

Okay. It is a nice pad, I will give you that.

I do have a way about me that can come across a little rough but I'm to the point and don't sugar coat.

It's worth the 400.00 you were just offered, is that better???

If the deal falls through and you will take 300.00 shipped I'll take it. LOL
