very straight car

I just had the seats redone in cloth, they were originally leather and I didn't have the money to replace the brittle factory leather. The headliner is new as well. Dash is perfect and carpet is very good. Everything works in the car, cold air and all the buttons on the steering wheel work as they should.

lexan t-tops

has:

pte-44 turbo
ball and spring adjustable boost valve
accufab regulator
340 fuel pump
2800 converter
50 pound injectors
terry houston 3 inch downpipe
LT1 mass air meter and mass air translator
new universal joints

The paint is the only real drawback to the car, it sat outside most of it's life and has some sun damage on the roof and the deck lid. No rust on the car though. Straight and clean underneath the car as well. The factory rear spoiler was replaced by the previous owner with a stock appearing one and it looks great.

I'd like to sell it outright or trade it for a GN or t-type, only interested in 86-87 cars of equal or lesser value...t-top cars or solid roofs preferred

asking $12,500 obo/firm with weld wheels (both sets have new tires)

streetracer78@hotmail.com

please email me for fastest response, I can't get on here at all hours of the day but I can check email all day...I will have more photos in the next day or two, I am picking it up from the interior shop today or tomorrow

How did those lexan tops live through all those years outside? They would have disintegrated years ago in this Texas Sun I'm under.

I do not know about the transmission being original or not, it shifts good though...I don't know about the converter either, it was in the car when I got it a couple months ago and I don't recall the previous owner mentioning the brand.

The t-tops have some light sun spots on them but I think a lot of it will polish out, I always drive with them out anyhow...I checked on getting a new set made with a supplier from our family business (we are in the plastics and aluminum business) and he said that making them would not be a problem but we did not discuss price....it's a nice car, with a coat of paint and minor details it could be a 9 out of 10 easily.

possibly, shoot me some photos to the email listed if you have any and we can go from there

all of the photos that I have can be seen at PHOTO ALBUM

price has gone to firm without the weld wheels...I've fixed and replaced a lot of small stuff since placing this ad

I'm bumping this back up....

almost done swapping in a TH400

Also has a 100 octane turbotweak chip in it

consider trade for t-type or 86-87 GN of equal or lesser value, not looking to trade up

I sure wish I had the money for this car:mad: Especially since you're only 20 minutes from me, I live in Lancaster. Here's a TTT for ya

I'm sure we could work something on that car in your signature  ;)

I think I've pretty much decided to keep it and sell my ram to finish it up with a good rear end and a cage

I took it to clay city right after I got it last summer, anxious to see the difference now as it's running much better now

btw...the TH400 is in the car and it runs great...had to get a new driveshaft made and could use the finishing touches like hooking the kickdown up and maybe a different shifter (currently using the stock one)

How do you like the TH400 in there so far? I've been kicking the 400 idea around for a while now, just hate to lose OD but don't wanna spend 4K on a 200 to keep it either:eek: Did you get your TH400 locally?
