I am the second owner of a Texas Buick Grand National that has zero rust. The car is stock except for the exhaust, it has one dent about the size of a dime in the rear panel on the driver's side. It has had all maintenance performed and all the documentation is there for proof. The total history of the car is documented from day one. I can tell you what's been done and the day, cost and mileage at of the maintenance. The previous owner had a 69 Firebird that he purchased in 70, and an 87 Mercede's that he purchased in 1987 and a 79 Porche he purchased 5 years ago. He had a 4 car garage, and his wifes brand new mercede's was taking up the spot for his 69. The gentleman drove his three cars as everyother day drivers and they all looked like they could go on a show room floor. His occupation is a electrical engineer. I purchased this car from him last Feb, I have drivin this car about 4,000 miles since the purchase. I put most of the mileage on it driving it as a daily driver for the first couple of months while I looked for a beater. I have since replaced the front and rear bumper fillers and had them painted, and I put a new coil pack and a used module, and replaced the headliner. The interior is an 8 out of 10 and it won three out of 4 car shows last summer before the painted fillers. This car has wowed several of the LSBPC members, they can not believe how well it was kept. This car has always been garage kept and it hasn't seen any rain since last Mar 2006. As for performance I took it down a 1/4 mile track and it ran a 14.6 with some street tires that need replaced. This is a great solid GN and the paperwork is amazing. I also have service manual and body manual's, the 87 Buick sales book, the dealer tags, the window sticker, and all the manuals that came with the car. It is a hardtop, with power locks, windows, power seat and all the other loaded options. The trunk and the interior look better than the motor and the outside of the car. I would like to trade for another hot rod or a Smokey and the Bandit TA. There are two things that don't work.

Power antenna
windshield washer
needs tires-willing to purchase whatever the buyer wants
and besides the dime ding there are 4 other very small dings that can be popped out by pdr.

If interested please pm me.

Buick lovers and other Buick sites to post for sale?

I was wondering if I can post this on any other of the Buick sites? Any one know? I really want a Buick person to have this car and for it to be a good home.:)

lot's of e-mails and Pm's

I am getting some reaction to this car, I will sell it of course but I am also very interested in a trade and if you have something more expensive I am willing to pay the difference. Just thought I would throw that out there.

P.S. I spoke to the old owner of this car today via e-mail, I didn't tell him it was up for sale, but he did ask how the car is doing and he still backs it to this day by offering me his services on fixing whatever breaks on the car. He is really a cool guy.

BIG BIG INFO you (Conviently??) Left Out:

And the ORGINAL MILEAGE IS: ???,???

Oh, and a BONE STOCK GN in WARMER weather "Should" run a VERY VERY LOW 14 @ 101or so....

1/4 mile time

This car actually has 134,700 miles
As for the 1/4 mile time please remember I am no professional driver. I started at the line with 0 boost and low rpms. This car runs strong for being stock and it's mileage, and in case your wandering the paint is over 75% original.

Something else!
I probably could have been dishonest about the mileage and many people would have never caught it. I will say I looked pretty hard for a GN when I bought this one and I didn't know any Buick people at the time and did not know about this web site. I fell in love with the car because of it's history and condition. It is a fine car and deserves a fine home.
Sincerely,
Chad:)
