It's the same Lc-2 engine. Most have 209 blocks and 8445 heads.

109 Blocks. They are the same.

I think the '86s don't have fully grooved front cam bores (not 100% positive on that one) but other than that, everything is the same.

actually the pistons are different from the 86 to 87 they were very similar but had different reinforcements around the wrist pin skirts and were slightly different in weight part # was also different ------86=25526298-------87=25531068 no matter since we all do away with them anyway......RC
