are the hot air transmissions the same as the 86-87s with the brf valve bodys.?

basically,yes

Servo is slightly smaller with the 84-85 (BQ code)
Main thing is it is setup for the 342 rear gear (all 4 years)
I know of a few people running them in an 87 --mid 10 cars.
For some reason some people shy away from them because they are not a BRF--in that case send them my way..

will a well built one handle 400+ hp? i am considering putting one behind a carburted lq4 going into a 67 firebird and adding boost at a later date.:biggrin:
