85 t-type problem

I have 2 85 t-types ( actually one is my sons in fla.) my is running great, but his is running for about ten minutes and then it starts popping and missing. This is from a garage in pensacola. They just did a coil pack conversion and they say they got the right ones, but i am not sure. Any ideas? Maybe a bad module, the first one they put is was bad. It was running fine before the 85 module went bad. It has a new jasper engine.

is it only doing it when engine is warmed up? but otherwise runs smooth for first 10 mins?

My first suspicion is the coil module. Swap it out with a known good one. While you are at it ohm out the coil pak. Should be between 11-13. Brad

thanks. i trying to work with the garage in pensacola, but they keep assuring me they are right. if they don't fix it by thanksgiving, i will fix it with mine. his stepdad doesn't want me doing it i guess, i could have saved him the 650 he has paid so for and i supplied the conversion kit. go figure.
