If you have an original translator or translator plus you will ned to buy an update chip with the transfer function of the new sensor/pipe in it. If you buy a new one it will be installed already. If you have a Gen2 or Pro there is a free software update on our tech board. You get a choice of a 4" hose or a 3 to 4 adaptor to install on turbo, you will need a harness to connect for plug and play, the translator one for the original translator or plus, the sensor to Buick one for Gen 2 or Pro. If you call and place the order will be sure you get the right items but it is not too tough

Its tight but you can clear a 4" inlet pipe without a spacer I did it on mine

I dont have a photo of it yet I need to take some new ones so I can post them

Has everyone been using the 4" MAF Pipe with the stock plenum and NO spacer (or bigger plenum such as the PTE) but with a 3" Up Pipe (such as the PTE stock location IC or a front mount with 3" pipes) ??

What plenum is that you have on the car ?

From your pics, it looks like the up-pipe is either located higher or angled upward (or both?) and can clear the 4-inch MAF Pipe.

Does the Up-pipe hit your hoodliner?
