yes, the 89 TTA came with a 3bar

I'm just switching from 2bar to 3bar so I can run the 02 wideband and powerlogger.

Yeah you dont need to be using their alky kit. Its a simple way to make sure you have a good 5v and ground source w a new signal wire going into your logger. Or you can jump the map wiring at the ecu, keeping the old ground and signal wires.

25 bucks seemed a no brainer for me. Peace of mind of having 100% reliable boost reference and tune on the logger. As well as a quality map.
