28x9 or 28x10.5 Mt slicks ?

Guys just wondering what size to go with i think the 28x10.5 might be bigger than needed but im looking for some sug. I know the 28x9 is going to fit better if i use my old stock car rims but if i run a set of C.L autodrags 8.5 w 3.5 bs should i go bigger? My cars wheel wells are cut out with cut out GNX flares but i dont want to go overboard . The best last year was 12.50 @113 on 275/50/15 Dragradials .Thanks

I use 28X9's and have no traction problems...28X10.5 would be way overkill on your combo....the one advantage I see to 28X10 is they are 28" tall, the 28X9's are really 27" tall

thanks Woody ill give those a try if your going 10s @125 i should do alright and can use the cheap stockcar rims with them .

What's your 60' times with the 28x9's?

usually in the low 1.5x range.....have gone as fast as 1.47 with the 28X9's

the run in my signature was a real average 1.56 60'

FWIW, Goodyear makes a 28x9 that is 28" tall.
