'28 Essex turbo update

Attached are some pix of the update.
1. The GM headers have been sliced and diced to fit.
2. Turbo 400 trans works well
3. Will finally get to the interior guy in 4 weeks.
4. Engine 0.040 over
5. Going to upgrade te turbo, in the future.

Note: To any one reading this thread for the first time. A thanks to all who have provide clarification to make this work. Just getting the waterlines routed correctly, determining what the hell a PEVR is, TRUST THESE GUYS, they know they are talkingabout.
 
Update, Engine is in the car!!!!

Very nice. I haven't seen a 28 Essex in 30 years, and it had a Chevy in it.:mad:
 
More pix. This the rear trunk I made. The top wood and trim are walnut. The gas tank sets inside.

Just about done with paint, final buff and polish. V-6 turbo was a tight fit, might run without sides for a while.

I'd run it without the sides for the moment to see what kind of temps the engine runs at. Once you see what it does then try the sides on it and see what it does. With the turbo there's a lot of extra heat under the hood and it may need to be let out.;)
