2 series carrier in a gn

I made the mistake if buying an auburn limited slip diff and about 10 track passes and 4 years of street driving (5500 miles) it's now a 1 tire fire and they won't warranty it. I have a gm posi at home but its a 2 series carrier has anyone used a spacer to make it work? Any advice would be great thank you

it will work but its advised against running a spacer due to the hp (torque) and weight with the turbo regal

i put a 2 series carrier inplace of a 3 series . was temporary to replace a defunct powertrax and didnt realize at the time it was a 2 series , I used the original 3 series 3.42 ring gear (no spacer ) and a lot of shim on one side
