2 Quick TR/GN Questions

1. Cruising a 65 mph in O/D, what RPM should my tach be reading?

2. When driving around town or in a suburban area is it best to drive in Drive or Overdrive?....or doesn't it matter?

My car is pretty much stock and has the normal 3:42 posi, so aftermarket add ons shouldn't affect it.

1900-2000 rpm at 65

You can drive around in either one. I use OD.

My tach must be screwed up. It was reading almost 3,500 rpm's at 65. It didn't seem to be running at that high of an rpm. Anyone know where i can get it fixed in the Pittsburgh area?

Verify it with an aftermarket tach. I'd go to the east coast section at the bottom of the main page and ask for help near your city.

1925 rpm with the stock height tire in OD with the converter locked.
