Well, like the title says I got my car running again this last weekend. I had to put it away for 2 years while I was gone to school, and now that I've been back for a little but (and super busy) I finally had a chance to show her some attention. It went pretty smooth. I pulled the valve from the fuel rail and jumped the fuel pump relay and pumped out what was in the tank... put a little fresh gas in... pumped it out again... rinse and repeat
Changed the oil, checked all the fluids, charged the battery for a little... and...
Fired right up! Held the rpms up to splash the cam and she's running!!!!
So this next weekend shes going back under the knife for the 400 swap, which was one of the reasons I parked it before I went to school. The tranny is pretty burnt up. I'm gonna try and document the 400 swap process while I do it. There is a lot of bits and pieces about the swap on here but not ONE real good thread about it... We'll see how this weekend goes.
