1979 10th ANNIVERSARY TRANS AM
DSC04540-1.jpg

We are selling our fully PHS documented, all numbers matching Y89 79 10th Anniversary TA with 70K original miles. Its one of only 7500 made. The car is in outstanding condition and runs and drives like new. Its an automatic with a 403 (6.6L). The AC is ice cold. The car (like all TATAs) is a WS6, 4 wheel disc brake, full optioned car. It does have the Y89 mirrored t-tops as well.
The car has BRAND NEW interior (carpet, seats and door panels.) The car has had one repaint in the mid 90s....and the paint is still in great shape (I would rate it a 9 out 10. I did just put brand new decals on it including a new hood bird and Pace Car call outs (while correct, if you dont like the Pace Car decals they can be very easily removed.)
The wheels are brand new 17in Year One silver snow flakes, but I do have the correct turbo wheels in awesome condition with like new Goodyears if you would rather have them.
This car is great shape and really needs nothing! Its not a trailer queen but can drive this car anywhere and be proud to show it at any local car show or cruise in. You will not find a nicer 10th Aniv Trans Am for the price anywhere!
$14950 CASH OBO.
Trades will be considered, BUT BE REASONABLE with your offer...if your car cant be sold easily for more than I am asking for this car be prepared to offer cash with it. If you have a car worth more I can trade up as well (this is actually preferred.) I am NOT interested in project cars, boats, motorcycles, race cars, or campers. To save time...TRADE VALUE IS $17,500!
The Trans Am is located in Huntsville, AL. I have a clean title in hand!!!

I grew up in my dads 77 Trans-am. God I loved that thing. Sweet car. Love the rims. GLWS

Yup, straight out of the 70s, including the steering wheel wrap.

Very nice!THATS A DEAL!!!!!!!!!!! my wife has the 1979 Limited 10th anniversary 6.6 4 speed.

In March of '80, I was run over by a car thief stealing one of these from where I worked. Do you know if the the front seat upholsetry is original or replacement? I seem to remember the headrests having the embroidered birds too.

Mine didnt have embroidered birds in the head rests and I bought it from the origional owner, a family friend in 1989. It was all origional with 44,000 miles.

Damn, Nice T/A! I owned a black 79 with the 403 Olds V8. Ran low 14's all day long with a few bolt ons and a 3.42 rear. At that time low 14's was a decent street car. lol. Sure does bring back some memories!! GLWTS......
