    Cars for sale

Got it, finally. Thanks. Not sure I understand the logic of requiring lookers to sign up before they can buy a car here. This probably limits the exposure by quite a bit, I would think.

    959 Horsepower on the dyno!

As of yesterday when I left the Car Craft extravaganza (July 20th) in St. Paul, MN the top HP dyno run to date was 959HP. Run by a GNX that had more than a few mods, I'd guess. Don't know who owns it but probably well known around here, huh? Anyone know if he finished on top as of the close...

    Running out of ideas

Sounds like you looked at your cam sensor but didn't test it. Easiest test there is: Start car and then disconnect the cam sensor. Drive it and see if there's improvement. You must reconnect before starting again. If it still runs crappy with Cam Sensor disconnected at least you'll know the...

Before messing with the cam sensor find out if it is the problem: 1. Start car 2. Disconnect the cam sensor. 3. Drive car. 4. Reconnect cam sensor before starting car again. If it still runs crappy with sensor disconnected the problem is elsewhere.

    Run problems - '87 GN

As pointed out above, it could be a number of things causing the problem. I chased a problem for a year before finally finding the cause. It was the cam sensor. Didn't show any codes and didn't show up in computer analysis. For my money, a check of the cam sensor is a must whenever your car...

    Intake pop?

Start car then disconnect Cam Sensor. If it runs properly you'll know the CA is not set properly. Reconnect CA before starting car again.

    Cardone rebuilt Power Master issues

Powermasters at this age should be called "Crashmasters". Scared the $hit out of me when mine unexpectedly failed. Two replacements failed too before I woke up and converted to Vacuum. Get rid of it before you hurt your car, yourself, and/or others!

    Cam Sensor Issues

Pull the cap, clean it up and reassemble. After replacing several parts and sensors this fixed mine and one other I know of. Went from running really crappy to running perfect, like magic. Won't work for everybody but only takes a few minutes and no money. Just do it!

    Cam sensor ques???

I chased an intermittent miss for a long time before checking the cam sensor. Disconnected, it ran without a miss. So I took the cam sensor cap off and noticed just a small amount of dust there so I wiped it off. Didn't have a replacement so I just put it back together thinking I'd look for a...

    Bad miss

87 GN mostly stock. Have been chasing a bad miss for a while now and its getting worse. I have the LT1 maf and translator and wondering if this is where my trouble is. My question at this point is -- if a maf is going out do you always get a code? I get no codes even when it misses badly. Also...
