    any hot air motors available?

My wife is making me clear out the "excess" projecs from our driveway. I've decided to let the '87 T go and keep another project. But, I need a donor motor from an 84/85 GN for a transplant. Anyone have any ideas? I'm even willing to work out a trade of sorts with my T-Type.

what's the AC Delco part number for front brake pads. My local Delco guy sold me ACD part#171-542 (GM# 18024919). The invoice's descriptions states "'87 Buick Regal," but the part is completely different from what's on my car. Thanks for your help, David R

    friend looking for a TR

I have a buddy who is interested in picking up a TR. He's mainly interested in a good body/interior. I believe he wants to do his own thing under the hood, so a rolling chassis would be fine. Price range: probably about $3,000 or more depending on the condition of the vehicle. Please...

    Oil puddle below coil pack

I have noticed that a pool of oil seems to appear on the top/rear part of the engine directly below the coil pack/ignition module. Tried searching the threads for similar simptons, but found nothing. Any ideas what may be causing this? Aloha, David R

    leaky #6 exhaust valve

Well... been working on "wringing out" my car (a la spring cleaning, etc.) and came across a bad exhaust valve for cylinder #6. Compression test for cyl. #1-5 = 150 psi. Cyl #6 = 100 psi. Wet compression test still @ 100 psi. Cylinder leak test showed ~ 40% leakage from exhaust valve...

    Need TR consultation

I've decided to "down" my TR for a bit so I can prep her for some of these racing events at the track (I'm tired of missing out on all the fun). One puzzling topic is a chip/injector combo. Let's assume I have the upgraded fuel pump and regulator: how big injectors can/should I get? Are...

    Chip ID

Now I'm pissed. After ****in' around my car taking care of this and taking care of that I decided to see if I can find out what kind of chip I have. As I understand it, the chip is located in the panel area on the passenger side between the glove box and the floor. I found myself fighting...

Think it's hard to get parts now...

http://www.nhra.com/2001/news/December/121701.html Guess what? The government wants us to trash are old clunkers for "minimal credit" on a new "fuel efficient" vehicle. The attached article also has some links for further info on how to get in touch with our Senators so we can let them know...

Aloha. I'm probably going to be moving from Hawaii to California sometime in 2002... anyone have any idea if I'll have to make any special mod's to my stock '87 Turbo-T to meet that thing called California emissions? Thanks in advance for your help. David R
