Oil pump thrust washer needed #6, #7, #8

Anyone have any pump thrust washers they don't need they'd be willing to sell ? I've called everyplace I know locally and they don't have what I need. Transtar, rebuilders, PATC, etc I have a #5 Light Blue .193 in there but I'm @ .033 final end play and it's not thick enough. Video says .004 -...

    200-4R quick rebuild question

When you're all said and done, should the output shaft turn with the same pressure in both directions ?? Presently my output shaft has a yoke on it. Counterclockwise it turns with medium resistance. Clockwise it turns, but with ALOT of resistance that I need 2 hands to turn it. Is this...

3rd friction in OD overrun clutch issue ??

I cut off about .250 with my dremel cut off wheel and then used a wetstone to sand down the edge, and 400 grit emery to fine tune the surface. Installed it all back together this AM after getting home from work, and it's mint. 1st clutch sits right on the 1st steel now with the...

3rd friction in OD overrun clutch issue ??

Okay, dumb question..... How much depth removed...., and what suggestions to get it done ?? I'm thinking it's just a guide , so it shouldn't be a crucial measurement, but I could be mistaken. Not quite sure I can take a grinder wheel to it.

3rd friction in OD overrun clutch issue ??

Interesting...... Do you guys know about how much ?? I didn't see this information in CK"s manual. Is this where it's shaved ?? Or are you saying the billet input drum TOP END has to be shaved ? Uploaded with ImageShack.us

3rd friction in OD overrun clutch issue ??

Negative. Factory = PISTON , steel, friction, steel, steel, friction, top plate & Snap ring. 300hp+ = PISTON , Steel, Friction, Steel, Friction, Steel, Friction, Top Plate & Snap ring. < This is what i'm doing. I'm laying them in there like the 2nd option for increased friction apply with 3...

3rd friction in OD overrun clutch issue ??

For starters, I'm rebuilt up to the point where I put the overrun OD clutch together. This is where I'm at. Trans is built up to the center support standing vertically in a stand. I have the 4th gear piston loaded onto the Center support. It's a shaved piston that Jakeshoe hooked me up with...

200-4R with all CK performance upgrades for sale (Just built)

Yeah, I hear ya. Transmissions are a tough thing to sell without a warranty guaranteeing it won't blow up. I'm not even 100% done building it yet. It's 80% complete, should have said that in the 1st post. I guess I need to finish it and then come back and relist it after it's 100% tested.

200-4R with all CK performance upgrades for sale (Just built)

I did. I'm not a transmission builder by trade. I'm just an enthusiast who bought everything , including CK's manual, and all the stuff to do it. That's why I'm only selling it as a project for what I have in the trans. If a trans shop built this it would be nearly 2x the cost with a...

I'm going to sell the 200-4R project I had going for my 1970 442 tribute. For those wondering why, I'm selling my Olds drivetrain for an LSX upgrade. So I have an upgraded 1982 Valve bodied 200-4R with 1. CK Performance billet forward input drum ($350) 2. CK Performance level 2 rebuild kit...

Best way to shave 4th clutch piston?

It's recommended to shave the OD clutch piston .080" to add a 3rd friction to it in applications over 300hp. (200-4R) I'm just curious how you guys that have rebuilt your transmissions have gone about doing it. I was told a lathe was a good way to do it, but I don't own one. I have a drill...
