Im going to pick up a used 2004r transmission out of a 1986 grand national, is their any way to tell that it is actually out of a gn? (i heard the valve bodys are different in the gn 2004r's) Mine slips bad between shifts, and i could use this as the core, and have it rebuilt, then just swap...

I just picked up a 340 and hot wire kit im going to install this weekend. Is there any online (i searched here) like a step by step procedure of dropping the tank and installing the fuel pump? Just want to have an idea of what i am getting into before i do it. Thanks Rob
