My 86 T with 189,000 miles clocked a 4.3 on the G-tech. :) Unfortunately with 214,000 miles I can no longer claim that time. :(

Well I fluked the cables just now, they are normal. I am not an idiot :) Just never seen this. When I fluked the battery the ground had no connectivity :( I tested the positive terminal to the alternator and there was connectivity. I have a short or a burn out somewhere. :(

Well, I just checked my ground and the battery is not grounded, something is disconnected or burnt through somehwere. :(

The cables were right unless he had them wired wrong from the getgo, the actual cables that is

The 79 Monte Carlo did have the turbo 3.8, it was the buick engine. Don't know if those badges are correct though.

These cars came in more colors and color combinations than you can count. :D Don't worry about it. Silver ones are seriously sharp looking to boot.

The best way to do it is to buy a complete intercooled motor, so it can be done for about $1,500.00 but will most likely run $3,000.00 to do it properly and make sure the engine is in shape.

Wow, I had an 1980 YZ50, dad got it for me when I was 5 :D,it would go 45 mph even when I was 18 and weighed about 180. Unfortunately it was stolen by a crackhead. If you were closer I would buy it in a heartbeat.
