This was quite an adventure. Metric seemed to fir right. It was harder than hell to get the motor mount and acrrier bearing brackt lined up. The bolts tighened OK. My 84 riv is about 50/50 Metric and SAE, sometimes on the same part. I'll check em' in a couple of days and let everyone...

What is the size of the bolts for the motor mounts that go through the carrier bearing? Both of mine vibtrated out. The service manual only has the torque spec. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Russ is right. Been there and done that......... Here is some free advice. While you have 1/2 the engine apart, take the other 1/2 apart. Pull the heads and be sure that your pisons are OK and that the valve the played pong is not bent. Imagine how pissed you'll be if you slap it back...
